We work collectively to amplify our presence, expand our reach, and influence growth in ways that help shape the culture of Greater Asheville. We encourage Positive Leadership through leadership development programs and learning opportunities that focus on creating an environment where individuals and organizations mutually thrive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Evolution of Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The old hierarchical models of leadership are breaking down without better alternatives ready to take their place. Leaders are leaving their professions due to stress, burnout, and lack of trust. The stress comes from multiple directions leaving leaders caught between competing demands in a 24\/7 work environment. Too often, leaders find themselves in crisis mode, putting out fires instead of leading. The isolation and personal cost that they endure is driving them to leave. Meanwhile, people observe and wonder why anyone would want such a job.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Positive Leadership Enables Positive Change<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In its 2025 Global Leadership Report, Gallup stated that success during these challenging times depends on three things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Awareness:<br \/><\/strong>Leaders must know themselves and how to leverage their strengths<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alignment:<br \/><\/strong>They must know their followers and what they need from their leaders<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accountability:<br \/><\/strong>Leaders must understand the demands and expectations of their role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Positive Leadership focuses on human strength in creating an environment where individuals and organizations thrive.
