You’re invited to this free, fun community event at 3 Hunt Hill Place Asheville, NC 28801.  KL Training Solutions, a leader in youth mentorship, education, and violence prevention – with its programs “My Daddy Taught Me That” and “My Sistah Taught Me That” – will officially dedicate its new home space to Bennie Lee Lake on June 14, 2025.

The Building Dedication and Open House will celebrate the organization’s impact, invite the community inside for the first time, and honor the lasting legacy of Bennie Lee Lake – a former Harlem Globetrotter, Asheville coaching legend, and inspiration behind the organization’s mission.

The event will feature a Dedication Ceremony, bringing together local leaders, youth participants, and the Lake family to recognize the power of mentorship in shaping the future of Asheville’s young people. Guests will be able to explore the youth center, walk the “Legacy Trail” and meet the youth and families involved in programs. Come see, catch up with the community, and get involved in future building plans!
