Read 2 Succeed Asheville serves children in Buncombe County from birth through Elementary School. The organization is on a mission to close opportunity gaps through literacy programs that engage children, their families, and community partners. Read 2 Succeed (R2S) strives to create a world where all children are confident readers who succeed not only in school but in life. Supporting children’s academic and life success begins with supporting their literacy achievements at an early age.
Founded by community activists, R2S served hundreds of children over the last decade. Through one-on-one tutoring and small groups, R2S advocates for children’s literacy. Their goal is to support students in learning to read at grade level.
