National Speakers Association Western North Carolina (NSA-WNC) presents “Creating Community: An Exploration into Exceptional Leadership” on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the A-B Tech Allied Health Building, Room 326, which is located at 10 Genevieve Circle, Asheville, NC 28801. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon and features professional speakers who will feature different aspects of building community and community organizations. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. There is free parking in front of the building.
“Creating Community” is a series of short presentations designed especially for leaders to:
- Create a collaborative environment
- Recognize the community builders in your organization
- Develop leaders who focus on “we” versus “me”
- Cultivate an environment that supports health and wellbeing
- Make the connection between respect and reciprocity
- Learn teambuilding techniques for better cooperation.
Tickets for “Creating Community” are $10, with proceeds benefiting the Asheville Breakfast Rotary Foundation. Additionally, NSA-WNC is collecting hygiene products and toiletries, which the Asheville Breakfast Rotary Club will distribute to local charities.
