In 2009, she was invited to present her research on managing creative organizations at the Conference on The Creative Economy and Beyond in Helsinki.  It is one of the life-changing experiences she shares with business audiences today as she helps them define and develop their pathways to success.

Ruhland grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. Both her mother and father were successful business owners. The family frequently engaged in business conversation around the kitchen table. Her early experience with entrepreneurial leaders had inspired an admiration for their passion and perseverance. She has since channeled her love for the art of leadership into a vision that, with the right people, processes, and systems, business leaders everywhere may experience scalable, sustainable success.
